This is a heads-up for all of you who take the time to read a bit about what I’m reading. Although books carry the burden of the site, I read more than just books. I read my bills, emails from my kids (What? Your kids send you emails?), newspapers and a few magazines. By the time I’m through, I turn to humor as an anecdote for all that good stuff.
I encourage you to do the same at: http://tygerpen.wordpress.com/
Trudi York Gardner writes about family, politics, religion and yes, no doubt she’ll finally get to the weather. All the topics one is supposed to avoid in polite company. You don’t have to invite her to a party, just read her blog
Who is she? Trudi is a native of Portland, Oregon, where humor is as prolific as rain. She now resides in Walnut Creek, CA, where life is much more serious. Her humor pieces have appeared in The Chicago Tribune, The San Francisco Chronicle, The San Francisco Examiner, The Sacramento Bee, and The Oregonian. She’s earned the George Gallup Award for Journalism, and was nominated for the Pushcart Prize for literary (but funny) fiction
Trudi holds a BA Poly Sci. UCLA; MS Poly Sci. Portland State U., Portland OR; J.D. Lewis and Clark, Portland OR. She also holds a California Life Credential. No wonder she’s so funny.
