Some of the best fun in running this book review site is the unexpected, like Joanna Bourne’s The Forbidden Rose, just reviewed by Ann Ronald. I don’t quite remember exactly how we got the review copy of Bourne’s book, but I’m glad we did.
Going over Ann’s review reminded me that I read it before passing it on to her. Ann says it best, “A bodice ripper with brains.” It’s no wonder that so many readers love this genre. Thanks, Ann for the great review and I hope it sells more than a few copies of Bourne’s book. – Sunny Solomon
