Sunny,
I wrote my comment on the Feb. page , but did not see it appear on the screen after posting it. My first time doing this, so maybe I erred. I was asking you to add to your list of books for the group’s consideration The Thousand Autumns of Jacob De Zoet by David Mitchell. It is an epic story of sacrificial love and clashing cultures set in Japan in 1799. Mitchell has done a magnificent job of research and the history rings true!! As I said I would be willing to intro the book if chosen.
Mine didn’t show up either, Marion, but at least one of your comments is up now and I just re-entered my own commment with the list of books, including Mitchell’s. He is some kind of writer. Amazing.
