Online book reviews since 2011, the very best in reviewing – connecting good readers with equally good writers

The Book as Book and Art Project

I am a bit late on letting my readers know about this project: The Date of Disappearance

M. Allen Cunningham, better known as Mark Cunningham to those of us who remember when he lived in the Bay Area and wrote The Green Age of Asher Witherow. He is also the author of Lost Son a novel about the life of Rilke. Mark has been living in Portland for some time now, but I want to let everybody know about his latest book, Date of Disappearance. If you go to the above site, you’ll understand why I haven’t yet reviewed the book, a collection of previously published short stories.

This entire project of connecting the Portland artist, Nathan Shields, with the Portland writer, M. Allen Cunningham, is almost a throwback to an earlier time in publishing. I’m willing to give it a “thumbs up” even before seeing the product. I encourage you to check it out.
